Prizmetrics
Medical insurance portfolio analytics

Know what your medical book is doing before the year tells you.

The problem

Long-term thinking has a short-term cost.

Medical insurance moves quickly now. Treatment costs, tariffs and product structures shift year to year, and data collection has moved on with them. But the industry still treats medical as a long book where a bad year evens out eventually.

That assumption is what leaves insurers caught off guard. By the time an annual review says the loss ratio moved, the year that caused it is closed. We think you should be able to see it while you can still price for it.

Who it is for

The same book, read two different ways.

Insurers

Where the loss ratio is actually coming from, by group, network and benefit, while there is still a quarter left to act on it.

Brokers

An evidence-backed renewal position instead of last year's spreadsheet, with the working shown to the client.

How it works

Your extract, not our template.

STEP 01

Upload what you already have

The premium register and claims file your system exports. No reformatting.

STEP 02

Confirm the columns

We recognise most of them and show you how sure we are. You settle the rest.

STEP 03

Read the book

Sixteen views, an Excel pack and a print-ready report, from the moment it loads.

Bring one extract. See the year you are actually having.

A demo runs on your own file rather than a sample, so what you see on the call is your book. Tell us roughly what you have and we will come back with what it would take.

  • Personal data is deleted before anything reads the file. How that works.
  • Nothing is loaded anywhere until you have seen the column mapping and agreed it.
  • We will tell you if your extract is missing something the analysis needs.

We use this to reply to you and for nothing else. No newsletter, and it is not passed to anyone for their own purposes.
